When we close our eyes to sleep
We open them again in a world created by our brain
As a confluence of present and past experience
As a conglomeration of our subconscious self
Of our fears and hopes
But the question is: who knows what dreams are?
Everybody dreams, but sometimes we can't remember
The pictures projected in and by our mind
In order to assimilate our experience
Maybe to entertain or show us the way
But these are all assumptions
And the question is: who knows what dreams are
